Ujíždějícího řidiče pronásledoval i vrtulník

Noční téměř pětačtyřicetiminutové pronásledování policií má na svědomí 30letý řidič osobního motorového vozidla tovární značky BMW X5. Včera krátce před 23.hodinou nerespektoval výzvu policistů k zastavení v Husitské ulici v Praze 3. Nedbal světelného a zvukového výstražného zařízení a začal policistům pohotovostní motorizované jednotky ujíždět ulicemi metropole. Křižovatky projížděl na červený světelný signál a svou rychlou a riskantní jízdou ohrožoval ostatní účastníky silničního provozu. V jednu chvíli vjel dokonce na chodník v ulici Opočenská a následně na lávku pro pěší, kde málem srazil člověka. Jelikož stále v nebezpečné jízdě pokračoval, do pronásledování se zapojilo hned několik motorizovaných hlídek policie a policejní vrtulník.

Ujíždějícího řidiče se nakonec podařilo zastavit až v jedné z obcí na Litoměřicku. Nutno podotknout, že velkou zásluhu na zdárném ukončení celé akce měla policistka z Integrovaného operačního střediska krajského ředitelství pražské policie. Ta díky výborné místní znalosti navigovala přes radiostanici policejní hlídky. To, že na operačním středisku pražské policie pracují zejména mimopražští policisté, se ukázalo v tomto případě jako neocenitelné.

Třicetiletého muže museli policisté nakonec z vozidla vytáhnout až s využitím donucovacích prostředků. Následný orientační test na přítomnost OPL ukázal pozitivní hodnotu na amfetamin. Řidiče i zajištěné vozidlo si převzali policisté z Obvodního oddělení Litoměřice k dalšímu řízení.
